Director - Dom Starsia

Dom Starsia is one of the most successful college lacrosse coaches in the country, As head coach of the Virginia Cavaliers, Dom has established himself as one of the leading teachers and coaches in the game today.

The 2003 Virginia team captured the NCAA Championship with a 9 to 7 win over Johns Hopkins. Dom's 12 year record at Virginia stands at 132 & 48. His 1999 team also won the NCAA Championship and they reached OT of the NCAA Finals in both '94 and '96. He was selected NCAA Coach of the Year in 1985 and 1991 and ACC Coach of the Year in '95, '97, '99, '00, '02 and '03.

Under Dom's direction from 1983 to 1992 the Brown University Bruins achieved the highest in-conference and out-of-conference winning percentage among all the Ivy League schools (101 & 46). He presently serves as the past president of the US Lacrosse Coaches Association.

Marc VanArsdale

Marc returned to UVA in 2001 for his second stint as the top assistant. He had previously served in that capacity from 1991 to 1996 and was the head coach of the University of Pennsylvania from '97 to '01.

Marc is a 1985 magna cum laude graduate of Hobart College where he was a member of four National Championship teams and the MVP in two of those final games. Marc is on of the truly outstanding coaches in the game and the UVA offense broke school scoring records in '94. '95 and '96. He recruited and developed some of the top offensive players in Virginia history including Doug Knight, Michael Watson, David Curry and Connor Gill.

Hannon Wright

Hannon Wright, a member of UVA's 1999 NCAA Championship squad, returned to his alma mater this year as a full time assistant coach. Hannon received his bachelor's degree in English from Virginia in May of 1999. Following graduation, he enrolled in Law School and graduated from UVA's School of Law in 2003. He served as the volunteer assistant coach during his final two years of law school.

Hannon was selected the team's Spirit Award winner as a freshman in 1996 and received the Doyle Smith Award for highest GPA in 1998. A native of Virginia Beach, VA, Hannon was a two-time All-Prep goalie at Norfolk Academy.
